TYPICAL CLIENT

Founder/CEO, Chief Product Officer, VP Product

NECESSARY TIMELINE

2 to 3 months

Our POV

Most of the cost of a failed product is committed at the discovery stage, not the build stage. By the time engineering has shipped, the expensive decisions — who it is for, what problem it solves, what it has to beat — were made months earlier, usually on conviction.

Discovery research is cheap relative to a build, and the honest version of it sometimes returns a no. That answer is worth more than the research cost, and it is the one internal teams find hardest to reach on their own.

What We Do

Problem validation. Whether the problem is real, acute, and currently costing the people who have it enough to make them act.

Audience and requirements. Who specifically would adopt, what they need the product to do, and what would have to be true for them to switch.

Concept testing and prioritisation. Directions put in front of real buyers early enough to change what gets built, with a prioritised view of what to ship first.

What We'll Deliver

  • Problem validation with evidence from the intended buyers

  • Audience definition and product requirements grounded in research

  • Competitive alternative analysis, including doing nothing

  • Concept testing results with a prioritised build sequence

  • Go or no-go recommendation with the confidence level stated

  • Evidence pack structured for board or investor review

When This is Essential

  • Before engineering resources are committed to a new product

  • When the team is split between several directions

  • Ahead of a fundraise that needs validated demand

  • When a first version launched and did not find traction

  • When entering a category the team has not sold into before
