In late 2023, we launched Design of AI because leaders needed orientation. Generative AI was new, opaque, and accelerating faster than most organizations could process. The focus then was experimentation: what’s possible, how roles would change, how to responsibly test.

That moment has passed.

If you’re leading AI, product, digital transformation, or innovation today, your challenge isn’t understanding the technology. It’s proving that your AI investments deliver measurable, scalable impact — and doing it before competitors do.

That’s why we evolved the show into the Product Impact Podcast.

This shift reflects what we see inside the organizations we partner with — including Spotify, Microsoft, Mozilla, Hims & Hers, the National Football League, and TELUS. Across enterprise SaaS, healthcare, public sector, fintech, and media, the pattern is the same: AI features are shipping quickly — but value measurement, adoption strategy, and performance benchmarking lag behind.

The Product Impact Podcast focuses on three realities leaders must confront:

1. Measuring AI Impact

Experimentation without measurement is noise. We explore frameworks for benchmarking AI-powered products against real customer outcomes — not vanity metrics. This is the foundation of our AI Competitive Briefing & Opportunity Sprint and our AI Market & Customer Demand Report — helping executives align around evidence, not assumptions.

2. Scaling What Works

Once impact is measurable, it becomes optimizable. We unpack how leading organizations benchmark release-over-release gains and refine leverage points. This thinking underpins our AI Strategy & Product Planning Workshop and AI Use Case Prioritization Sprint — ensuring investment flows toward initiatives that compound value.

3. Overcoming Adoption Barriers

The greatest source of lost AI ROI is rarely model performance. It’s workflow friction, cultural resistance, unclear incentives, and structural misalignment. Our CX Master Plan for the AI Era and research-led diagnostics are designed to surface and remove those silent barriers before they erode trust and adoption.

We are incredibly grateful that this conversation has resonated. Thanks to leaders who continue sharing the work, the podcast now ranks in the Top 2% of most-shared shows globally, has surpassed 10,000 followers, and is increasingly recognized as a leading AI strategy voice. That momentum reflects a broader truth: the market is demanding rigor.

If you’re evaluating how to measure AI ROI, benchmark performance, align leadership, and scale adoption, the Product Impact Podcast offers a window into how we think.

You can explore and follow the show on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube — and subscribe to our deeper strategic analysis on Substack.

The era of explaining AI is over.

The era of proving — and scaling — impact has begun.

If your organization intends to lead in this next phase, PH1 is built to help you do it.
